Self-esteem and Social Intelligence in Visually Impaired Adolescents

Aim: To explore the differences in levels of self-esteem and social Intelligent visually non-visually impaired adolescents Study design: Cross sectional Place duration: December, 2018 to February, 2020 special education center private government school city Lahore Method: There were 122 people total sample. 56 volunteers 66 persons.Boys girls aged 14 19 from public schools took part study. Two scales used; Self-esteem Scale for Children (SESC), Social Intelligence (SIS) used along with a demographic Performa Results: Analysis revealed that being having low level facilitation is found be negative predictor self-esteem. was no significant difference on three factors intelligence. Overall tend have lower Conclusion: Adolescence vital period person's life when he or she faces number psychological obstacles. If had any type handicap at this teenage time, would lot problems his life. According study, if person has throughout stage, it affects their degree Key words: Self-esteem, Visually Impaired, Non-Visually Adolescents
